Founded to build a better lift.
Reynolds Lift Technologies was founded in 2018 by coworkers Ed Curt and Kyle Meier to develop permanent-magnet motors for U.S. shale — and grew into a full-system ESP manufacturer.
The idea
Our team continually pushes the boundaries of artificial-lift technology, developing advanced downhole equipment and surface systems that drive production efficiency well beyond traditional industry standards.
That starts with people: more than 100 years of collective oilfield experience and a dedicated team of 10+ engineers focused on design, testing and delivery. It continues with control — in-house manufacturing means we own the process from first machining cut to the well. In 2023 we brought it together as a full-system solution: we don’t sell ESP products, we sell ESP solutions.
Milestones
- 2018
Reynolds Lift founded in Stafford, Texas by Ed Curt and Kyle Meier. Sand Slayer launched; in-house manufacturing established.
- 2019
Pivoted to 3.99" equipment for Permian applications. 399 PMM Gen 1.0 launched.
- 2021
Established supplier relationship with Baker Hughes.
- 2022
Equity partnership with Renovo Capital; MSAs signed with major operators.
- 2023
Transitioned to a full-system sales model — selling complete ESP solutions, not parts.
- 2024
In-sourced pump assembly for competitive cost positioning.
